Richard meets Chris Knox at the Mile Oak HQ of Granstead Ginger.

Chris and I in the old diary where they make the ginger drink.

This is the filling station.

Rosemary Knox demonstrates how the filling station works.

The filling stops automatically

Rosemary is demonstrating with water so as not to waste the Granstead Ginger

This is the big barn next door and is where the delicous drink is pasterised in special tanks.

The Granstead Ginger is pasterised in their bottles. Very clever!

Loads of bottles in storage waiting for the drink!

At the side of the big barn is promotional trailer for the farmers markets and shows!

Chris demonstrates the Mark 1 labelling machine! Hmmm, looks a slow process.

Still only one bottle labelled.

Whats that bigger machine in the background?

A completed bottle/

This is the Mark three labelling machine - number two was under a bench.

Chris switches on the machine and we watch the bottles get their labels and moved on into a bay for packing!

Close up of the labelling

The motor!

The packing bay

Rosemary and Chris show me they have a stack of bottles to get labelled.

The view from the big barn to the south downs - lovely!

Is that a caravan hidden in the corner?

Now to some tastings! Yummy!

And a piece of ginger flavoured fruit cake!

The finished product read to go to market! Thanks guys, what a lovely set up and great tour!
